Old chevy

Scotty. I have an 04 Chevy Colorado with 135k I have a new battery, new plugs, I cleaned the airflow and throttle body. The first start has hesitation but always starts? Any ideas?

Also it runs hot while at idle especially in the summer with the AC on, cools of quickly after a few miles. Do I need a thermostat and coolant change?

And finally when fueling the vehicle has shoots out the fill pipe after the pump shuts off. Evap system was checked and said to working fine. This is an intermittent problem. Hot or cold days don’t make a difference.

Doesn’t go into the red

To many things cause start issue, overhear when idle? Does it go into red? If so could be many things. Water pump, thermostat, radiator, fan slip or electric switch bad that kicks on fan, or fan itself if electric.
