I've been watching you for a long time on your channel I think you're extremely interesting and you're where I get all of my information from for fixing cars. I'm not really sure what type of question is that I figured I would send it to you and then you may be able to help me out with advice or such. In early 2016 I bought a Chevrolet Malibu that had 30 miles on it. The day I drove off the lot I can feel that there was some sort of issue with the transmission. When you go to stop as you're slowing down when the gear is going to the lower gears two-in-one the car almost like hold back and then releases it into place. This creates a bobbing effect like you're at a rock concert. It is consistent sometimes it is worse than others. The car will also get a power surge randomly when your foot is not even on the gas. I've been bringing it into Chevrolet several times a month for the last year. Not realizing that they haven't been writing anything in their system about what they've done to try to resolve the problem. Nothing has been done to my car so far. But I contact a GM about the situation not being resolved they said that because there's nothing documented on GM side documented on GM side there's nothing documented on Chevy side they're not going to do anything. I told him that I have text messages and emails saying that there's something wrong with the car and that they're trying to fix it and that they had some specialist come look at it and they reprogram the transmission but Chevy has none of those notes. They've kept my car for weeks at a time and they've never documented it so I was out of a car for weeks and as far as GM knows I just stopped in for a visit to say hi. I know my car is a lemon in there something wrong with it but because they have not documented anything I am stuck. I'm stuck driving a car that I hate to drive because of these issues and more and Chevy and GM won't do nothing to even look at the car. The car took such a depreciative hit that if I sold it now I would be owing money and it only has 12 thousand miles on it and it's in mint condition. I tried contacting a lawyer but the same thing because Chevy didn't document what they did to try to fix it. It's as if nothing was fixed at all. Read my text messages from the guy who has been handling my car at Chevy he does say that there's something wrong with the transmission he does acknowledge that they kept my car for weeks at a time GM will not look at those in any way, even do an investigation as to why my story doesn't line up with theirs. I'm out of options I have nothing going for me and I'm stuck paying over $300 for a car a month that I hate. Is there any advice or anyone you can point me in the right direction to because for the next several years I will be stuck with this problem. I've tried bringing it into another dealership but I don't know what notes they have on me and my file that prevents them from looking at it as well. So even though the car is under warranty it is not once gotten fixed. I brought it in three times because my brake pedal sticks and the front brakes made a Whomping noise and that is still not fixed either. I wish I can get them on a breach-of-contract or something but as far as I know right now nobody wants to help or even look into it. It's very depressing and everytime I try to contact someone higher up I keep getting past so the people that aren't helping me in the first place because nobody wants to deal with it. I printed out all the text messages and emails I just told him that I can send them to GM so that they can just do an investigation as to why their documenting everything through the phone and nothing in their database and they want nothing to do with it they literally said they wont do anything and they don't want to look at it. Normally I'm a happy person but I've been so depressed over this car it's unnerving. I many times to get them to document on paper they claim they can't edit the papers so therefore they leave it as the car runs to factory standards. I would appreciate if you can send me some advice. I just don't know what to do. The dealership is really screwing me eight ways from hell and there's nothing I can do about it . Thank you so much for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
