GMC Acadia 2007 No Start

Everything works but my data goes away. And after that no start or crank. I try to put straight power to the starter and The starter works. I got no power on starter relays. I put the test light on the stater solenoid wire, trying to give it a jump up to the battery positive and the light turns on when it shouldn't. I don't know if the short is on the starter or the wire. I have ground on the wire. Thank you, I don't know what to do.
