Driving with a misfire

Can you drive a car thats misfiring code p0301?

My 2006 Nissan maxima has that code but in order to get to the coil ignition apparently i have to take off the intake manifold. (what a bad design) but is the car still safe to drive. i am going to try and squeeze around the intake tonight. because taking off the intake is too difficult for me.

A misfire is fairly bad, and you want it fixed ASAP, as it can damage engine components eventually. Due to the location, you might see if you can get a new coil ignition, and mount it somewhere else. This will keep the heat from affecting the coil, and alleviate having to take off the intake manifold. Basically, you are just taking the old coil out of the system, but leaving it mounted, as it is failing. It might take some creative wiring, but repairing the misfire will be better in the long run.

safe enough as long as it doesn't cut off while driving at a steady speed.
