my toyota 2007 camry was shorting coolant in the coolant reservior besides the radiator. i took it to the mech who noticed one of my fans wasnt flying. the fan was fixed (recoiled i think). and i later noticed the coolant level was still going down gradually. then my mech referred me to a man who was into radiator repairs after noticing the long neck line of the radiator was having vapour signs. the radiator was fixed. i see no more vapor signs but one night i noticed the water in the coolant reservoir boiiling. (really audibly). i didnt open the hood. i turned off the AC. got home and the next morning there was not coolant in the reservoir at all. (the white water tank by the right front tire). by then my car had started to overheat at high speeds or when the AC was on. at leaset i noticed it on the night of the boiling. my mech had the engine thermostat removed to see if the overheating would stop. but it didnt. it only continued. by the time i drove home and using AC sometimes. to see if it overheated. this morning i opened the hood of the car to find no coolants at all in the reservoir nor the radiator. i topped the radiator with water which didnt take time to fill showing it wasnt completely empty.
