Battery loosing charge

Tested my battery and it idled at 13.9 now a few weeks later it idles at 13.6

My 2006 maxima takes 2 turns of the key to start been that way a while. My battery was completely dead a month ago. I got a new one. tested it a few weeks ago and it idled at 13.9v tested it today and it idles at 13.6v (12.9v when the engines off) Alternator problem? do i need to replace it or just need some loving?

While there is a little 'insignificant' change, it could be an indicator of a short. Have any modifications been made electrically? After market radio? CB? Amp? If you have doubts about any, you might consider disconnecting the item, then check again. You may need to keep checking this over months to find a trend. Make sure when you test, that everything is set the same electrically (which items are on, etc.)

Stop at any AutoZone. They'll load test your battery & alternator free. Look at the digital readings as they run the tests.

That little difference is irrelevant
