Hi Scotty, I've aquired a 2000 f150 from a co-worker for free because he doesn't want to deal with it. It has a bad 4r70 automatic transmission. It doesn't want to go into gear (reverse to) at all. What would you recommend, a rebuild or to order a new one online. Thanks you.

Hi Scotty, I posted a while ago about a 2012 Veloster transmission question... If there is no dip stick to tell me how much fluid is in the box, how do I know how much is in there? When the bolt is removed I do not see any drops of fluid so should I have it flushed out? That is the only way a mechanic will touch my transmission, by flushing out the old and adding new fluid. What are your thoughts?

Hey Scotty, big fan here from Latvia. I'm currently in the market for a used car around 3000 euros. For that price, I can get a 2004-05 Corolla. Is there anything specific I should watch for when buying one? Only looking at cars with manual transmition. I've heard rumours that the diesel ones are blowing head gaskets after around 200k kilometers, and that the petrol ones start burning a lot of oil when they get older. Is this true in your experience?

HI SCOTTY I have x5 e70 2008 v8, the engine oil change should be after 30000 km or 24 months. the 24 months already finished but the car only ran 8000 km and I added 1 liter of oil when the message appears in the Idrive screen, I did this 3 times in the 24 months. Do I have to change the oil now or I can wait?
