are there any Scotty-tricks for speeding up a drive cycle on GM? My 98 S-10 had an Evap code, replaced gas cap, reset...been driving all week and still "incomplete". Highway speeds, cold idle, hot idle, everything google search said to do. Starting to get impatient.

nothing can speed it up, if it won't reset, the MILs that won't reset have a problem where they are not good enough to pass but not bad enough to fail. Evap codes, just two days of driving and sitting overnight will reset them normally unless other problems exist that were not fixed, such as a bad evap cannister vent valve
