Hi Scotty K!
Love your videos! I have a sound that my Pep Boys Auto (after about 3 attempts) have been unable to resolve on my Acura TSX 2004 (225k miles and running great). They actually even ended up handing over my vehicle to the Acura dealership for 2 days. Acura ended up improving the frequency of the noise occurrences and loudness however, I still intermittently hear the noise. I've attached the invoice from Acura's (improvement) but it's so hard to prove because the sound doesn't occur too often. I've had rotors and pads replaced, brake pads and etc examined. Most of the front suspension and rods have been replaced about a year ago and the axel. Due to the issues and how everything played out, I was reimbursed for all service charges with exclusion of the OEM brake rotors.
I'd appreciate any possible suggestions. The Pep Boys manager is very friendly and tells me that even master mechanics have tried resolving the issue. After the Acura "fix".... the noise didn't re-appear for like 2-3 weeks. I hear it, but not as often. My street looks pretty level to me but, it's the only street with an 80%+ can be heard when going from the corner, to the front of my home 150 feet or so. Intermittently, it does happen other places. Typically, it's less than 20 mph while with/without brakes. The braking system has been examined about 5 time total by Pep Boys and Acura collectively.
Very much looking forward to any response. I realize the car is older but it's in great shape as per all mechanics. I really want to get rid of that sound.
Thank you again Scotty for your awesome videos!
