Hey Scotty got a question for you. I have a 1996 chevy s10 2.2l. I've replaced the fuel pump, oil sending unit. And idle air control valve. As soon as my engine warms up and idles. My oil pressure drops. My "check gauges" light comes on. If i push on my gas after a stop my car comes back to life. I can't figure it out. I've read try a thicker oil then if that doesn't help it's the oil pump. But I don't wanna guess

have a mechanic check actual oil pressure with his own gauge, and if it's low, pray it's just a worn oil pump and not worn out bearings requiring an engine rebuild
