Hey Scotty I've got a 98 Toyota Camry 2.2 liter 4 cylinder that I've had for about 2 years and bought with 175,000 miles on it. I've replaced the PCV valve and the valve cover gasket but it still leaks oil and every now and then it will blow smoke out the back if I let the car idle for a while and then give it gas. Do you think it may be piston rings or valve seals, or something else, should I be worried?
Thanks!!! Yeah, that's pretty much what I was thinking too. It's a smooth runner, great car and engine and adding oil is definitely better than having to get a new car.
heck, oil is cheap,, keep adding it. Engine rebuilds are not cheap
