['97 Honda CRV RD1 AT] Condenser & Radiator Fans
Hi Scotty. My car appears to be having overheating issues on the road. I understand that both the condenser and radiator fans should be working when the A/C is on. Both motors are working (spinning). However, the odd thing when troubleshooting was a tripping (click) sound that turns both fans off momentarily when holding the engine at 2,000rpm (in Park to heat up) before it started spinning again. I am uncertain whether this caused the temperature to rise (overheating issue) when I am on the road. By default, I understand that the radiator is supposed to kick in once the engine is hot (detected by the temperature sensor). Your humble advice is appreciated. Thank you.
