Scotty!

Mike again. My Nephew has a 2020 GMC Sierra AT4 with 10,700 miles. While driving home his truck threw a couple of codes (I think he means the idiot lights) and started shaking. He says it tried to engage the parking brake while driving. He took the battery out for thirty minutes. He thinks it's fixed now. Can I get your opinion! He did not use the obd keep memory alive adapter when he disconnected the battery. I looked up one of your videos on how to disconnect batteries and tried to warn him, it was too late.

Oh, I was car shopping around the same time he was and I tried to get him to watch your videos and to buy a Toyota or F-150. He said he liked the features of the GMC. I think he meant the creature comforts. I tried warning him multiple times. It just didn't take. He told me all car manufactures are the same.

I however took your advice and bought a 2014 manual transmission Toyota Corolla with 50,000 on it for about 1/5 the price. I'm justa rolling on down the road.

I told him I was going to write you to see if you could help, he sent me a meme that says "Scotty Doesn't Know", lol. I'm betting you do....

Thanks for answering our questions!
