2009-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 6.2L vs 2010-2014 Ford F-150 6.2L

I'm looking for a reliable work truck. One that I can tow 10,000 to 11,000 lbs from time to time. I was looking at a 2nd Gen Silverado with with 6.2 and a 12th gen F-150 which also has a 6.2. I know that the Chevy 6.2 is OHV and the Ford 6.2 is SOHC.

Now if I am correct, an OHV design is generally more reliable than a SOHC design if properly maintained. However, I do know that most 2nd gen Silverados are made in Mexico. Which made me think back to Scotty's advice to not buy a car that had been made in Mexico due to lack of quality control. The Ford, on the other hand, is made here in America. The one thing that stick out to me the most about Ford's 6.2 engine is that it has two spark plugs per cylinder. The fact there are 16 sparks plugs used in that engine means it's going to cost twice as much money and more time to change out the spark plugs.

So would it be worth it to spend twice the money on spark plugs on an F-150 than to deal with potential quality issues that may arise in a Silverado. What would be the most wise decision here and why? Thank you!
