2004 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T

Replaced the clutch and it feels odd.

So I just replaced the clutch on this VW Jetta 1.8 turbo and while I'm driving it now, all the gears seem to switch more direct now, it used to jerk when I had the old clutch in but is this normal? It has 240,000KM / 149,000MI and I'm wondering what this could mean. Also, what do you think of this car and what is it worth now?

that is normal. Jettas are ok cars, but have very low resale value due to VW history of plastic parts falling apart as they age.
