I was looking at this car for sale. It's at a dealer, it has 127k miles and the guy wants $4,850. I test drove it yesterday, brought it to a mechanic, and everything appears to check out. I offered $4,500 and the son of the owner said his father said not to take a dollar less than asking price.

Is this a good price or should I pass? There is zero warranty on this car and I don't want to be overspending. Thanks Scotty!

Edit:
I'm also looking at a 2010 Toyota Camry XLE v6 for $9,855 with 73,662 miles. Which one would be a better car for me? :)

Well thats the toyota tax. If youre ok spending extra for a good car the go gor it. Doesn't hurt to look around for anything similar but cheaper

Is he flipping cars? Private owner? First owner? With those miles I would pass even for a Toyota unless it passes the questions above.
