10th Generation Honda Civic buyers beware!

There is a little-known design flaw in the 10th generation Civic...

The front grille on the 10th generation Civic is very open and exposes the condenser to rocks and pebbles from the road. These stones can puncture the condenser and cause all of the R1234 freon to leak out of the A/C system. Unfortunately, this happened to me...the repair was nasty expensive (close to $800). Owners are getting around this issue by attaching black gutter-guard to the backside of the grille. I had this done by a mechanic and it looks great and prevents this issue from happening in the future. Honda denies that there is a problem, but I'll bet they remedy this issue on future models.
