06 FIVEHUNDRED

  1. Steering wheel flutters when braking at high speed: •Replaced new front 2xDisc Rotors •Replaced new front 2xbearings •Replaced passenger 1xCV-Axle.

Steering alignment is 9.5/10 and brake pads are even on the surface of the disc rotors.

(Have not checked rear brakes or rotors)

The car was purchased used and the front bumper was replaced as it is not fitted correctly. I replaced one of the head lights and one blown speaker. My concern is that the steering column may be damaged due to collision.

  1. When I set the alarm by locking twice on the keyless fob, this will drain my battery by the time is morning. Why?

  2. Since the car has a keyless panel in case keys are locked inside. I find it annoying to find my trunk open, windows down, doors half shut etc.

I Reprogrammed keyless fob I own to wipe other keyless fob that could be programmed into my car. Will any other keyless fob still work to unlock the car even if I reprogrammed? and would you recommend I remove the key panel at the door. The manufacturer code is only five digits and up to three may exist.

Thank you Scotty and have a great Christmas .. and a happy New Years.

I went on a long trip with heavy luggage and after driving so long the acceleration from 0 to ~30 now becomes weak when driven long distances and recovers when then engine cools.

I spent some time working on recovering the acceleration performance:

•fuel filter replaced
•spark plugs (all six)

I cleaned the throttle body egr valve and the intake manifold and fueled premium gasoline that cleans the engine and it works great until a thing heats up.

But I like working on my car so I learn.

Check the front end for wear like ball joints or tie rods on the steering wobble when braking. I would assume keyless alarm module is staying on, I would only use the non fob alarm or spend a ton fixing it.
