Bikers get a bad rap. But peel back the leathers, gloves and helmets and underneath there is typically someone who understands the meaning of community and banding together to help others in need. The Sirens Women's Motorcycle Club in New York City is made of women riders who fit that description. They've taken it upon themselves to help nursing babies who need donated breast milk to survive. The club focuses on women's health issues and they teamed up with The New York Milk Bank to deliver donor milk to mothers and babies who need it— all for free.
Good to see something positive in the biking community get highlighted
Yeah, we thought so, too. We hope to do something more in-depth on them later.
Amazing network that is doing a great job at helping their community
