Jared Mees took another win over the weekend at the Harley-Davidson Williams Grove Half-Mile, which allowed him to clinch the American Flat Track AFT Twins crown two races early.
Mees made history by scoring Indian's first Grand National Championship title after over a six decade absence of the company from flat track racing.
Brad Baker joined his fellow Indian Wrecking Crew teammate on the podium with a second place finish, and Briar Bauman (riding a Kawasaki) finished out the top three spots.
The fight for the AFT Singles lead got more interesting as current title leader Kolby Carlile finished second to Kevin Stollings, Jr. That increased Carlile's lead over rival Brandon Price by 12 points with just two races remaining. Wyatt Anderson claimed the third place spot on the podium.
Meanwhile, a flat tire kept long-time championship leader Shayna Texter from making the Main Event. She's now 29 points back and is going to need some serious help to finish in the top three, let alone get back on top.
